McKay Avenue School by bkbinthecity

McKay Avenue School

Last week Melody and I took the time to go and visit the McKay Avenue School Museum. This was the first brick schoolhouse built in Edmonton. It opened in 1904. It was named after Dr. William Morrison McKay.
This week I thought it would be fun to take everyone on a tour through the museum and travel back in time to see what things used to be like
Ah yes! The good ol days!!! Simpler days and issues! Great architecture!

NICE! They don't have schools with this kind of architecture anymore. It's too bad! Reminds me of the junior high school building I attended classes in. And no elevators or disabled student consideration then either! Just lots of stairs.
