Last month I posted a picture of my Mom in her nurses uniform so today being Mother's Day I decided I would post a photo of Melody's Mom in her Salvation Army uniform.
This was her graduation photo from her time at Training College in Toronto around 1956.
My mother-in-law is one of the most kind and caring individuals I know. After finishing training college she made her way to Calgary where she worked at the Salvation Army Children's Hospital. She continued this work until she met and married Melody's Dad in 1958. Happy Mother's Day to all of you wonderful mothers out there
