The Keg

The other day we were the recipient of a gift card to The Keg. So last Saturday we went out for a great dinner.
This particular location is located in the old Scona Garage and Apartment Building. It opened in 1912 and it cost $40,000 to build and an additional $8,000 in machinery. It could house 65 cars at the maximum. The second floor was made up of one or two bedroom suites. The picture on the left shows the bar in the restaurant. The staircase leading up to the loft area is original to the building. For those who are wondering Melody had a chicken and ribs dinner I went with the 12oz Prime Rib served medium rare. It was delicious

Looks like a really fun place to enjoy a nice meal and companionship...looks like you beat the crowd! Nice atmosphere,, good food, and the one you love for company. It doesn't get better then that!!

The Keg are such great restaurants. I love the lay out, they all seem to look different. the food is excellent and the portions are a good size. love their steaks.
