Causing A Real Stink

So this is Puttella. This a corpse flower at the Muttart Conservatory. If you are familiar with this these flowers blossom every two or three years and when they do it is a horrible smell that accompanies it
This was taken a couple of days before it blossomed

Poor plant - doesn't seem to have many positive things going for it but it is really unusual. I can imagine Mr. Spock saying to Captain Kirk, "fascinating". Great capture and so interesting Brian!
