Slide City

Well Melody and I are enjoying our time off and we checked into a hotel for one night which was on Friday. On Saturday morning after breakfast I went for a walk and I remembered that Slide City was taking place. Since I was downtown I decided to go and check it out.
If you are not familiar with it it is a huge waterslide that is set up for people to enjoy.
There were a number of spots to get up close which allowed me to get some good shots. Melody and I had other things we were doing that day so I did not have the opportunity to take it in but it was fun to watch. Our little get away continues for another couple if days

Cool photo of what looks to be a fun event! Slide the City is coming to my area in September -- but with a cost of $25 for 1 slide / $60 for 5, I plan on staying on the sidelines to take photos..My innate frugality has kicked in and I'm just not sure I would enjoy it at that price. However, taking photos of it sounds like a lot of fun!
