The Builder

On Sunday we got a call from Melody's Mom asking if we could take her dad to the hospital.
He had fallen and they were concerned that he had may be cracked or broke some ribs.
After a few hours he was released and it turns out that he did crack a rib but he is on the mend.
While walking through the hospital I came across this statue representing those people who have contributed to the building of the new heart institute at the hospital
Quite extraordinary, great find. Hope the rib heals quickly

I love learning about Edmonton's wonderful art, architecture, and infrastructure through your project, as this photo shows. I'm sorry to hear about your father-in-law, yet I'm also relieved that it was not worse. Elderly people and falls are an especially bad combination. It was the beginning of the end for my father last year.
