Some of you may remember last June l had to appear in court as a witness in a trial involving a break and enter in the building we are caretakers in. That time the two accused who were on bail never showed up.
A few months later the police found them and a new trial date was set which was this past Tuesday.
This time the one defendant was there the second one once again did not show up.
However, to complicate matters the one witness for the prosecution was not there and they have no idea where he is. Without him they have very little chance of conviction. So the the decision was made to drop the charges.

Makes it seem easy to avoid the law. But down the road, this will catch up with them. The police will say there's outstanding warrants and they'll have to face what they've done, but it'll be worse because it'll be because they avoided it.
Great color and lighting. That must be so frustrating to see them get away with it by just not showing up to court. And two days of your time is now (somewhat) wasted. At least you got a good photo out of today's court date.
