Hanging On To The Past

In 1967 the Provincial Museum Opened Its Doors. It remained an incredible part of Alberta's history until it closed its doors in 2015.
A couple of years later the new Royal Alberta Museum opened downtown. The old one has sat empty ever since and l really have no idea of what will happen to the building
What a shame, it looks like a lovely building in the top photo.

It looks like a really striking building! I hope something good for the public is made of it. A great collage, too, Brian, to document this. Fav

@olivetreeann The decision was made to build a new museum in the Art District downtown. Before someone moves in they would have to undertake some serious renovations
