Churches In The Village 2

This is St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church. When Ukrainian immigrants first settled in east central Alberta the churches were much simpler.
By the the 1920's it became possible to build churches similar to those in the Old country.
This church was built in 1934 in the town of Vegreville. After it outgrew the congregation a new church was built and this church was moved to the Ukrainian Cultural Village
Wonderful shots of this beautiful church.
