The starlings are back already. This gang waited until I went back into the house to swoop in on my feeders, not unlike a gang of hungry teenagers after school.
Three good things:
1. They go for the cheap seed and suet.
2. The dogs let me sleep until 6:00 a.m.
3. Another couple inches of snow makes it all look clean again.
6am....wow that’s not a lie in! We are troubled with starlings, I like them but they are very greedy...eat all the mealworms we put out fir the robins, just like a gang of hungry kids as you say.
