Such exquisite woodwork in this resort. Sadly, no views from the mountain today, we are socked in with fog and rain, so we walked inside, six floors, all the stairs, fifty four minutes, 4652 steps, 1.9 miles! Got to see the lovely craftsmanship and paintings in the hallways, and peek into the rooms where housekeeping was working. Such a change of scenery from my four walls at home!
Three good things:
1. Three meals a day served in a restaurant
2. Friendly staff (the waiter says he walks over 13 miles a day!)
3. Stargazer lilies in the lobby that send their aroma through the hallways
Well there are worse places to be trapped in! I’ve actually fantasised about staying in a hotel in Cambridge I’ve been so desperate for a change of scene!
