The drop of 225 feet could not be captured with my camera! Those beautiful basalt columns were formed from cooling lava that had originated under Yellowstone. So we were told. Three good things:
1. A private tour through the Columbia River Gorge
2. Another spectacular weather day
3. We did not blow off the side of the mountain in the 60 mph winds!
