I thought I'd try snapping purely with a phone camera on my way to work at 7am. Today's job was about 90 mins drive away from home, which is just north of London, into West London (White City), and I thought I would'nt muck around with the images, no processing, nothing and see what I could get with basic equipment and no photoshop.. other than to make a collage. Was hard not to muck around, lol, I wanted to sharpen this that and the other etc.
And, I've just noticed I am a day ahead. No pics for tomorrow then, lol. I've been away with the fairies obviously and got my dates wrong last week while I was trying to sort out leaving days off from 365!
I am so pleased to see photos straight from the 'camera'. I know that I've often remarked on here that seeng the image is half the skill. I won't get on my soap box about is it art or photgraphy once we start messing about with it!!!!..ooops Anway lovely idea - must have made for an interesting drive trying to get all these shots. Might give this a try sometime if I can get my head round making a collage!!!
each and every frame is fantastic, made even more so by the fact that it's straight out of the camera...and a camera phone at that. my phone's crap. haha. i can't take a decent photo using it even with good lighting.
Such a great concept to make art out of that which you pass by every day. I should consider doing this for my route to work, complete with the gun shops and bikini baristas I drive by! LOL! You've captured your morning commute beautifully! And kudos for refraining from editing. The images are lovely as they are and don't need it, in my opinion.
WOW -- what an interesting and beautiful commute ride you had this day. I just love how you put it altogether into a collage....each individual photo is great by itself.
I love collages! Yours is wonderful. And that it's so random - just images you see as you walk to work - is wonderful. One of my fav parts of this project is getting a glimps into other people's lives who live far, far away.
