My mum told me years ago that squirrels do not eat bread.. and I've seen loads do that, here and in London!
This baby (yeah, its not SQ as there are two babies) loved its bread, and buried the rest of it after munching.. they've a lot to learn about burying stuff, they keep just placing the fallen leaves over their spoils, cute to watch! Am sorry, I really like squirrels now :-)
Its just taken me 2 hours to clean the kitchen as I kept watching them and photographing them in the cold and miserable garden... its a not get anything done day today :-)

Very cute! I just took a picture of a squirrel yesterday laying in the street - in perfect condition but dead :( I just decided to delete it - no one needs a picture like that!
Yes, they do like bread. It is funny to watch them place a leaf or two over their choice goods, then the wind blows the leaves away or I rake them away. Oh well.
P.S. I didn't get much done today, either...not even a cute squirrel shot... Tomorrow must be better ;-)
