Again, apologies for not being around much.. its just so mad here, so much to do.
Another unusual visitor in the garden today! Lovely Jay popped in for about a minute, wolfed down a whole almond, then got chased off by a magpie. I did have a few frames with all its feet and eating the almond, but there's a huge burger bap behind him and it looked awful! I never throw away food that would be good for birds any more, lol.
Apparently Jay's werent seen in towns before '98 in England, but now they do come into gardens, eating nuts, seeds, small rodents, young birds and other small creatures. Belong to the crow family.
I have no idea if its getting older, but I am deffo enjoying my wildlife, lol. I liked wildlife as a youngster, but was certainly not interested enough to name or learn about them! I'll be wearing slippers next...... ;-)
This is such a great shot. I love Jays, the 'British Bird of Paradise', until they try to sing. Have you ever heard one? Not pleasant! You've taken loads of great bird and wildlife shots recently.
