Went to Sussex last weekend for my 40th b'day and had fun hanging around with Ed in Brighton and other places that I took him to. My highlight had to be that a gull took Ed's hot donut right out of his mouth - this happened in the same place 2 years ago! I joked that its because he's taller than most people and nearer to the flying gulls! His face was just priceless :-)
ohhh yeah Freida! sorry I don't have time to look at many pics this day and I didn't know you were back. You know when people write they don't follow anymore people who stop posting I just want to tell them they're stupid, cause sometimes someone stop and upload pics again. It's like meeting a friend you haven't seen for a long time! I'm really glad to see you back and hope you're doing well!
just caught up with you, hope you had a lovely birthday - this is a great shot and I love the picture of the gulls stealing Ed's doughnut - that would be too hysterical for words!
@parisouailleurs Aww, thats lovely of you, you just cheered me up! Thanks a million! I dont post too often, but I do peek from time to time, good to see you still here and still taking great pics!
@Cherrill He he, nothing wrong with being an addict, at least its healthy! Congrats on the baby, thats wonderful news! I wonder how long it will be before you get to babysit!! he he. Many congrats again, lovely to hear :-)
@blightygal me? babysit..............aaaaaargggggggggggghhhhh, no please, don't make me! lol To be truthfu I'd be scared as **** to be left alone with him! lol Thanks for the thought tho! :-)
Happy Birthday - looking forward to getting down to family in Sussex next month. Love this shot - don't know how you got such fab focus - and Ed would have felt bad about the calories in that doughnut (maybe!)! It reminds me of the wind blowing the ice cream right out of my dad's cornet when we were kids once - his face was horrified but he managed to re-catch the ice cream before it hit the pavement and then he looked triumphant!
@judithg Ha ha, thats mad over your dad!! Very cool catch tho, and he so deserved be triumphant!! Enjoy Sussex, I just hope it stops raining for you :-)
Ha ha - fab story! Love this - it reminds me of that bit in 'Finding Nemo' with all the gulls squawking 'Mine, mine, mine, mine ... ' By the way, this is Isla Wight under a new alias - had a bit of family probs and felt safer going a bit further incognito for a bit ...
@boxplayer Hello!! Glad you're still here :-) Hope it all works out with the family stuff.... Are you going to go to the new London meet, 8th July I think? Hope so!
Hope everything's ok with you all....
All ok here, it all takes time. Was a lovely send-off last week tho, as lovely as these things go, that is. Cheers for asking!
