I know, another cat pic. Am not really doing anything else at the mo..
Looks cute here, but was actually trying to figure out how to get his own way on something a bit dangerous. Walked off growling when I wouldn't let him, made me laugh! He knows the word 'no' but just tries to ignore it when I say it. Ends up being a little battle of wills!
@blightygal It was just a short ornamental grass we had planted by the pond (no longer). My belated top tip is to run your fingers careful up and down the blades of grass. Some of them have small barbs going in one direction and they are super sharp and get very stuck! Poor Rafiki had a 3 inch piece under her soft palate (quite obvious due to constant retching) and another 3 inch piece up her nose and under her palate (probably working its way out of her nose) for a month - symptoms an odd cough/sneeze - they only knocked her out and looked again because of the first one!
@judithg Wow, just dont think of these things huh? Sounds really nasty, poor love. And as you said, poor your wallet! Hope that's it for her now, and is healing well...
@blightygal Hope so - she did the same thing a couple of year's ago with the neighbour's grass - the vet said they do see this type of thing but not usually three times in the same cat!!
I can't get over how gorgeous this cat is. I don't think you need to apologize for posting pics of him. Heck, some members make their whole 365 project about their pets, and I love it.
Regarding cats and grassy bits in the wrong places. I had a neighbor who's male cat got a bit of a foxtail stuck in his penis. Yep, poor kitty. Such trouble they get into, when you least expect it. My cat is strictly indoors, so most (but not all) hazards are eliminated.
aww I remember that look. He has very pretty colouring. We are all good, Mac gagging to get started on the next phase (uni doesnt start till mid feb) Im enjoying learning/relearning bahasa now that Ive forgiven brain for not remembering I was once fluent. How is the renovation going?
@palusami Am sure it will come back to you! Good on you for learning again, something I am far too lazy about, I must do something, its good for the soul! Glad to hear you guys are all doing well :-) Renovations ok, going a bit slow recently, last three weeks have been spent with tummy bugs & Ed's tooth abscess, bless him. This weekend tho... lol! Have fun! x
@judithg Oh, your poor cat! Hope be ok - where was the grass from? Haven't designed my garden yet, but thanks for the top tip..
