I feed the birds in my garden in two places, and Lucy climbs our young cherry tree to get to the birds. They are not daft as they simply go on the other side of the garden to eat, leaving her stranded up the tree, waiting for me to give her a lift down. Smart birds!
We managed to teach Leo not to hunt the birds and squirrels which he initially loved to do and he was great with wildlife. Even sniffed noses with squirrels! Hoping to do the same with Lucy, in the mean time, she's getting a bell on the collar...
