Great shot but they must have been cold miserable plains to be transported in to battle

I was in one of these in the airforce museum in Dayton Ohio a few years back, made me think what it must be like to find your self off to some war zone in one of these things...

Oh, this is so very cool... what a wonderful bleak and historic space. So evocative. If you don't mind, where in WI is this? We are up there every so often and I would love to hunt it down. :)
