I have lived in Arizona since 1994 and I had no idea that Joshua Trees even grew in this state. The drive back from Laughlin to Phoenix passes through a very extensive Joshua Tree forest. Truly unique and beautiful trees. https://www.mikesroadtrip.com/joshua-trees-parkway-arizona/
@jack4john haha, nope. That particular Joshua Tree is gone now : http://www.panamintcity.com/exclusives/u2tree.html. what I did see was a field mouse, though. The moment we parked our jeep, a little field mouse ran up to the vehicle and went straight for the wheel rims. He climbed the rims starting running like he was a pet in a cage running one of those circular things. I took a picture, but it didn't turn out that great. It was easily one of the cutest things I have ever seen in real life.
@homeschoolmom haha, I know how that happens. I went to D.C once for the Cherry Blossom festival to see the cherry blossom trees in bloom but the trees were still dormant and the whole thing was a bust.
