Ever go for a walk and see birds hanging around that you've never seen in your town before? I never knew that pelicans lived in Phoenix. We are a desert and this is a river. They must have got lost on their way to California.
They look a bit bewildered! I saw pelicans on the Illinois River last fall and thought the same thing! They had to be lost. Someone thought they may have been migrating. Who knows!???
