I sure like the blur here! I need to try this technique myself too!

I agree with John @jack4john. This shot really grabs the attention in a way I don't think it would if it was focussed

I like images that pose more questions than they answer... and this image has me curious as all get out to know what's going on. Fav.

@kali66 I'm telling ya, that man's words, his music....goes straight to the heartstrings. Let Me Go x3 is a song I can never stop listening to. Deep stuff. It is so unfortunate that not so many people know who he was.

the whole album, he knows death is coming and he welcomes it, his voice is breaking and he has nothing left and yet he recorded every nuance of that feeling, was this his last ?

@kali66 I rather thought the same thing, but, no, that album came out in 2006. He made a few more albums after that with his other band "Magnolia Electric Company". 2009 was their last album, and after that his health went down hill with the alcohol, but he kept it under wraps. His death in 2013 came as a complete surprise to his fans (like me).

i suppose in many ways alcoholism is a slow inexorable way to commit suicide.

@kali66 it's a very sad disease/addiction.
