DTP (dead tree project) #9

Agaves, in particular, got hit especially hard with the never-ending cycle of heat. (Which, by the way, is still continuing. 105F yesterday, and low 100s all week. Record-breaking October temperatures.)

This is an installment of my Dead Tree Project, documenting the effects on local vegetation after 54 days above 115F (46.1C) degrees this summer.

Interesting project. Still surprisingly green

@ankers70 the agaves aren't! Also, I HATE that Phoenix uses grass. So much water gets wasted on lawns!

I wondered about the water usage, hence my comment

What an important project. Phoenix should shift to rock and sand yards.

@cristinaledesma33 For the most part, residences are usually landscaped with gravel, it's the public spaces that utilize way too much grass.
