First Sunrise of 2011

The first sunrise of 2011 was definitely worthy of a picture. As I was getting a cup of coffee I looked out the kitchen window to see a great silhouette of not only the big Pin Oak in the front yard but a bird sitting on one of the branches so I grabbed my camera and shot it through the dirty window...not great but it's going to be my picture of the day. The Christmas tree and all the lights and decorations came down today so there wasn't much time for picture taking. I'm really looking forward to life returning to normal next week so there will be more time for pictures! Hope everyone had a great start to the New Year!
