Meet the boys, Rusty & Murphy! They are brothers, born on Christmas Eve in 1999 and we've had them since they were about 12 weeks old. We only intended to get one puppy but we just couldn't pick between the two of them so they both came home with us. They are the most loveable, sweet natured, loyal dogs ever and they are inseparable! The only downside to Golden Retrievers I can think of is that they've never met a person they didn't like so if a burglur ever shows up they'll probably lead them straight to the good stuff! :)
Beautiful dogs. Used to have one, also. Can't get better-natured. Our Snakey, who appears in my pics occasionally, has a pure-bred golden retriever for a mother. You can probably see the resemblance when you know that.
They're beautiful, and you've captured them so well. I had a golden too- who taught me more about unconditional love than most humans could ever dream of. Thanks for sharing your handsome boys with us!
They are a handsome pair. I love the way they have that greying face. Good old boys. My dog on the other hand ate almost an entire bag of peanut butter m&m's yesterday!
I know what you mean, I have a Golden too and he runs to everyone and anyone he sees. Though he does have his defensive bark sometimes he quickly softens up when you give him a pet. Beautiful shot and beautiful dogs!
oh just look at their sweet faces. they are beautiful....i love my dogs sooo much, and between Jenn and I, I bet we have a gazillion pix of them. I bet these guys do too!
Golden retrievers are my absolute favorite dog, and you have captured a beautiful portrait of them here!!! They are just precious, and I wish I could give them both big hugs!!!
