What a BEAUTIFUL day! Woke up to fog and a thick layer of frost on everything. but by early morning the sun started to break through with brilliant blue skies and wispy white clouds with highs in the mid 50's! This was taken right down the gravel road from us and in the summer it's part of our nightly walk. On occasion we'll see Hank wading in the stream...he's either a Heron or Egret...not sure which! One of my favorite places!
I totally forgot to add I used a Fisheye Lens on this one!
@jjsooner Thank you Jennifer! Not exactly sure what all I did to get here but I started in LR3 as usual and then I tweaked it over in OnOne & Topaz Adjust software programs. It's not HDR but they have some presets that seem to give the effect of HDR without all the multiple exposures and you can adjust the strength just like picnik! I'm still trying to figure them out but I really love both of these programs.
Paula you are on a roll this week with lovely shots and nice editing. The way you worked with this lovely photo reminds me of another photographer on 365 - Peter Van Allen. At least I think that is his name. He does processing like this. It is really a dramatic shot. Well done. Thx for your nice comments on the shot I almost threw away!
Gorgeous shot Paula. Your landscapes are incredible. I'm not sure about your lens or your processing, you are more advanced than me. I do love what you do though.
I am so far behind on commenting I can't believe it! This is wonderful, Paula. A fav! I agee with Wendy - it has the feel of Peter VanAllens' work. The fish eye works so nicely here, very subtle. (So how did Joey like his camera?)
Lovely scene, and very nice job with the composition.
Thumb up!
