It was a beautiful day today so we spent most of the afternoon outside enjoying the sunshine. Started at the nature trail, over to Big Woods Lake and then on the way home I thought I saw a white egret back behind a house so I got out, hiked back to this area only to find it was just an illusion...a big plastic lawn ornament that looked like an Egret! :) Oh well, didn't get any exotic birds but I did get to see this nifty spot! :) For some reason landscapes always look like they've gone through a compactor when I upload them so better when viewed with the magnifying glass.
Wow!!! What a glorious shot!!! I love the sky, the reflections, the lighting, the sun, the track--well, just everything, I guess!!! :-) Stunning, Paula!!!
Paula, this is just so beautiful. Your landscapes just get better and better. This disappearing railroad track just has me going back and looking again and again. Thanks for the tip about magnifying. Does make a big difference. Question - the green and yellow on the rr track. Is that a reflection? Oh yeah, and the sun, the sky and the reflections - you just got it all here girl! A fav for sure.
You deserve all these favs Paula. This is a very nifty spot indeed and you made it into a beautiful photo. I like the rainbow effect on the tracks. And you got a lovely sun.
Fabulous shot and great flare! I also love tracks! That's funny about the egret . . . I've done that before, started to try to focus in on a deer in the snow on my zoom lens once only to discover it was a big stump! LOL!
