I haven't submitted a picture here for months and during my time away I kind of lost all my motivation to take pictures so I signed up for the 4th Annual Scott Kelby Photowalk in Davenport, Iowa on October 1st. It turned out to be kind of a dud photo walk....our walk leader never even showed up and there were probably only 8-10 people that showed up including me, my daughter Laura and my husband Bob. We walked around on our own for a couple hours and tried to come up with pictures to submit....this was mine. I have really missed this place and may try to start my project again so I don't completely forget how to use my camera! :).
Oh my goodness Paula! I sure have missed you and your photography! I was thinking about putting out an APB on you!! LOL! But seriously, you have amazing talent and know that you have been missed! This shot is awesome and love that sun flare! Your processing is great too!
i LOVE this! the flare, the focus. . .is that a fish eye? I'm happy you're here and I hope you stick around! (I lived in Davenport for one wild, winter!)
@stepheesue Hi Steph, THANKS for the welcome back and fav....I've missed you guys! :) Yeah, I used a fisheye on this one! So you spent a winter in Davenport and you moved to Cali...hmmmmmmmmmm, I can't imagine why!! :)
love the processing here - great to see you back - I've really missed your stuff. I have been looking back over my year (I finish year 1 on Friday) and was remebering your fabulous shots from a few months back, would be great to catch up with your work again
Oh, Paula, what a sun flare you have here. I see you have the fish eye out. I have always loved your fish eye shots. And the color is really interesting here with the blue on the right fading into the yellow/oranges.
