Spent a little time out at George Wyth State Park on Saturday....it was sunny and warm (like in the 30's) and the birds appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the break in the weather too as they congregated around the feeders along with the squirrels & one lone deer. I saw Cardinals, Downy Woodpeckers, Red Bellied Woodpeckers, Goldfinches, Mourning Doves, Nuthatches, Chickadees and some I probably forgot. All the birds let me get fairly close to them except the Cardinals, they hung back most of the time...except this guy who came out of hiding to check me out!
I'll bet you enjoyed the warmth, too. I think this little guy is contemplating whether or not the weather was really starting to turn or if it was simply teasing us again. I'm not sure what the answer is to that.
