My sister & I took long roadtrip in April and neither of us has any sense of direction. We left the Alligator River Wildlife Rehabilitation headed back to our motel and some how ended up in the middle of nowhere. Finally came to a gate with a sign that read "UNITED STATES AIR FORCE Bombing/Gunnery and Electronic Combat Range. It was desolate & looked like it had been bombed with the only sign of life being Turkey Vultures. Thankfully we had Onstar to get us back on track!
I may have been a little heavy handed with my editing on this one!! :)
An eerily awesome photo! The starkness of the landscape reminds me of driving through the Savannah River Plant area - a plutonium processing facility. Makes you wonder...
