I couldn't help myself, I had to go back to see if I could get a better shot. I found him in nearly the same place as yesterday. Light was better and avoided a few of the twigs. I was able to get probably 7-8' from him and he didn't seem to care. In fact his eyes were closed most of the time but I did get a couple shots with both eyes open today.
Superb capture. Your persistence paid off big time. Such beautiful markings and colors and it looks like he is smiling at you. Love the catchlight in the eyes.
