let it snow, Let it Snow, LET IT SNOW! by bluemoon

let it snow, Let it Snow, LET IT SNOW!

We're getting our first real snow today...it was pretty light this afternoon but just after dark it started really coming down so I turned on the back light and took this shot out into the backyard at the gnarly old Oak tree. We are under a blizzard warning tonight so I'm guessing those ffew leaves holding on for dear life will be long gone by morning.
Ohhh, that's so pretty! I'd love to have a snowy Christmas.

Oh, great photo. Not the usual white snow shot. Yes, after the windy blizzard here today, I can't imagine there are any leaves left anywhere.

The tree looks like it's decorated with snow globes. We might get some good blizzard pics from you by the sound of it.

What a great snowshot! Did you use the flash for this one?

Thank you for all the great feedback! Actually we didn't get a blizzard and not all the much snow. Nice & sunny today but COLD and windy! Geertje, I think the flash did fire but I also had the back floodlight on to illuminate the falling snow.

This is gorgeous. I love the big snow flakes! They really add a dramatic effect to the photo.
