Another picture taken this afternoon at the Cedar Valley Nature Trail near Hartmann Reserve. I haven't been out there in probably a month and the snow has finally melted....not all that warm out there today (30's) but lots of people out hiking, biking, jogging and walking so spring must really be here. This area caught my eye because it looked just like a doorway or frame to this scene. I used my fish eye lens today for all my pictures.
A sincere thank you for all your views and comments on my photo...the only thing that motivates and inspires me more than reading your comments is viewing all your photos! :)
to trudge through a foot of snow. It's all gone except a little bit in some of the low lying streams. It was only in the 30's this afternoon but the sun was shining so Joey and I headed out there after school and met my husband around 5...spent about an hour out there before we started to freeze to death. Lots of bikers, walkers and joggers out today so it must be spring even though it doesn't exactly feel like it. All pictures were taken with my fish eye lens today!
Very pretty Paula. I looks like a passageway to a different world. I like your title. The weather here was perhaps thirty and the snow is melting. The pussy willows are budding and I am tempted to become an ace to share more that one photo.
@wac Thanks so much Wendy! Go get yourself an ACE account....it's so worth the money! I think it's only $24 or something like that and it helps when you can't make up your mind which pic to use or just want to document a day or event for yourself. I find myself staying up waaaay too late some nights though when I can't pick one picture and decide to use 3....that's the only drawback....even MORE time spent on here! :) Not good when I have to get up at 4am every morning! :(
Oooo... this one is gorgeous! Love the puddle with it's reflections and the perfect framing with the trees! Do you ever do the theme competition? This would surely make the top 5.
