Fabulous structure, but at the same time it's unfortunate that so much of the sandstone has eroded away. Unfortunately it was a quick visit for me, maybe one day i'll visit there again. Good shot.

I love the hinges - such lovely, scrolling ironwork. Is it a little door, or does the surround simply dwarf it?

A wonderful and elaborate brickwork in the archway above the dark oak narrow door . this again with huge elaborate iron hinges !! As Lee says , a shame that the sandstone is eroding away with the passage of time ! Wonderful capture and colour tones -- so much to look at ! fav

Love the intricate ironwork contrasting nicely with the rustic door :)

This is nice. The proportions of the door are striking - such a small door and such a large doorway.

@mrsbee Yes, in comparison to the rest of the building, this little (!) door is an insignificant feature, but much easier to photograph than then huge main doors.
