Europe's largest photo festival hosts Baden bei Wien.
With the motto “NIEMALS AUFGEBEN!”, That is, “never give up” between July 14 and October 26, 2020, the bulk of the color art in the open-air gallery in Baden bei Wien will display a stunning visual world.
In 2004, the photographer Jacques Rocher set up a photo festival on man and nature in his hometown of La Gacilly in Brittany. Lois Lammerhubert, one of the most defining figures in contemporary photography in Austria, has an old friendship with Jacques Rocher. This connection eventually led Lammerhuber to finally bring the La Gacilly photo festival to Baden bei Wien.
The festival presents more than 2,000 photographs on canvases up to 280m2 in size.
