The palace of Baron Lajos Hatvany, writer, critic and literary historian. An 18th century dwelling house built on the site of a medieval building, using part of its remains. It was one of the centres of Hungarian literary life, and in the 1930s it was the meeting place of the literary world. In addition to the Hungarians, Thomas Mann and Klaus Mann were guests here.
