This is a good image but needs better cropping to really make this stand out! At the moment there is too much information that it is a staircase. By cropping to a square it distils it to be more abstract. The image is about shapes, dynamic lines and subtle changes in colour and some texture. Have a go cropping it keeping the left side of the image! Hope you don't mind my critique?
@marshwader Thank you for your thoughts, Madeleine. I am pleased that we agree on what my picture is about, although I'm not quite sure that I see a need for it to be chopped about.
