Black and white tunnel by boxplayer

Black and white tunnel

The new Granary Square exit at King's Cross station has a very pleasing tunnel with coloured light effects. Here it was in its black and white phase.

A very deep sleep I had last night, but busy with vibrant dreams I think. Lay in bed for a while then got up to prepare a bag and get ready for Pilates. She did a kind of circuit Pilates thing with us this morning - quite fun and using equipment like a big ball and a roller thing that we hadn't used before.

I then met Dave in the Salvation Army shop and we had a quick look to see if there was anything interesting in the furniture store, then a quick peek at the fridge freezers in the electrical store next door.

Then a walk to the station, picking up some filo spinach and cheese pastries from Indulgence, and we got the tube to King's Cross and walked up to the House of Illustration to see the EH Shepard drawings exhibition from his time serving in WW1. A fantastic illustrator he was and seemed like a good person.

Stopped in Notes on the way back to the station for a cup of tea and a share of a pistachio and chocolate cake. Very nice. Back at Walthamstow, we had a look round the BHF secondhad furniture shop, but nothing much of interest. Then walked home and had a cosy session in the sitting room with candles, a whisky cocktail and some snacks. Think we might just stay here.

I like all the lines and shadows. I like how you created a sense of loneliness

We like this tunnel. Adam says that the Lumiere London is going to be heavily based around CSM (well it's pretty lumiered at the CSM fountains at the best of times) so that should be fun. I'll send him in the House of Illustration.
