Spooky

A very impressive and spooky display in a front garden in Adderbury.

Quick breakfast this morning as was an early start at just gone 9 for the workshops meet-up at the Methodist hall. Workshop with Hazel Askew in the morning, learning Peacock follows the Hen and Drops of Brandy.

A marvellous buffet for lunch full of very naughty things which I overindulged in as usual - chips (what a revelation), fancy bread and butter, veggie cocktail sausages. I also got very merry on 2 gins and a couple of Nurofen Express.

Short ceilidh workshop after lunch then a couple of band workshops - with Emily doing Any Jig Will Do and the Bishop of Chester's Jig then Hazel doing Kafoozalum and William Taylor's Tabletop Hornpipe.

Ended up back at the Bell for a few drinks and a chat before the chilli dinner - excellent as usual. Followed by the now traditional and legendary chocolate torte. Session after - busier than yesterday and quite enjoyable - started a few tunes.

Elena turned up not long after it had started so that was fun especially as she got very tipsy. Heather also turned up after her gig much later towards 12. Stayed on till 1ish again - feeling relaxed about it as clocks were going back.

Back to the house - more crisps, chocolate, cheese and wine. Though I started to doze on the sofa as the gossip continued.
