Walking on water

Lake still frozen this morning in St James's Park. In fact, a thicker frost than we've had all week. Minus 4 apparently and there was a strange pink tinge in the sky as I walked to work, giving everything an odd, almost misty, glow.

The gulls all seemed to be congregated on the grass outside Green Park station this morning. Once on the bridge in St James's Park, saw loads of stuff this morning - tufted ducks, the heron, barnacle geese, red-breasted geese, Egyptian geese, a noisy crow. And the coots skating about on the frozen pond.

Pilates this lunchtime, still tough - she's very keen on her press-ups going into downward dog and back again thing at the moment.

Salmon fillets and our pouch of free rice we'd got in our Christmas delivery (never found out who's it was) and an episode of Friends.
