Frosty this morning - first real frost down here. Wasn't all that thick but nice all the same to see all the crisped up leaves and flowers in the park. And a lovely clear sky.
A calm day at work - the calm before what will be a storm of a busy week next week. Finished off preparing my games for this evening's lockdown shindig.
We all mostly finished up on time at 5 and logged into Skype for a bit of a chinwag and the odd bit of organised fun. As it turned out, it was tremendous fun and the odd bit of organised fun didn't go at all amiss.
Outfit theme was come in get-up for something you're really looking forward to doing when this is all over - so we had a Chelsea supporter, a rambler, me in my French Eurostar outfit, some going out on the town outfits and interestingly a drag outfit.
Dave sorted me out with a very yummy watermelon vodka cocktail - then later a concoction he completely made up of tequila, Cointreau and Baileys - amazingly even more yummy. My quiz went down well as did Through the Keyhole and David did a 'guess who's favourite song is' jobby. Lots of laughter and fun chat - a real tonic.
After, we had some veggie burgers in pittas and watched a couple episodes of the Fast Show, series 3 - full of classic characters.
