Day off and after a fractious early start of snapping and bickering, we drove to the flat to see the tenant and do the handover. Checked stuff on the inventory, took charge of the keys and read the meters. All rather dispiriting, a good tenant and still no interest in the flat despite lowering the rent. Tried to do a video, but it's harder than it looks.
Once home, sat in the garden for a while as it was lovely and warmish, having tea and the raspberry opera cake I'd got from Evelina's. Sparrows about and a new pretty young cat.
Went off on a cycle tour towards Tottenham and Turnpike Lane - a nice little corner full of some interesting pieces of street art. Came home and struggled along with my sister to work out how to release the tenant's deposit. All done eventually.
That’s a great piece! We are bickering about small things too. I had to fill in a form for the chiropractor that asked how irritable I felt - I ticked zero and then contemplated what Nigel would say and went for 4 instead.
