I am so jealous! My parents could never afford an instrument for me and the loaners at school were always taken so I never had a chance to learn. I tried learning guitar but my fingers just don't want to bend that way regardless of how hard I try. I think I will try learning piano some time. =)
As a parent, don't you find it stunning some days that it was only "yesterday" she was an infant, and now she plays a violin?! Good for you for encouraging her; she'll have that pleasure for a lifetime!
