Oh! Very, very cool! I'm trying to think of something clever to say about opening the box to see whether the ball is there or not, but I kind of like the endless possibilities instead...!
A golfer at the local driving range was kind enough to let me shoot him hitting a bucket of balls, and I was determined to get a shot of the club making contact with the ball. I ended up with five shots of varying degrees of ghost balls. The iPhone's shutter is so slow, and the club is moving so fast that I got both the ball and "not the ball", creating a ghost image. You can see the diagonal light of the club passing by and the motion of the tee. Crazy.
Poor Schrödinger's cat... That theoretical explanation really made me want to let the cat out of the box. Ghost images are really interesting to me. They can make a very compelling image. Love yours.
Einstein for a friend ... a cat ... a Nobel prize ... five names ... a method ... ultra-cool glasses ... a nice room at the sanatorium ... women on the side ... and, now, a little-known ball (which may or may not be there) .....
