@carole_sandford thanks Carole.. he has biscupid aorta valve..caused aneurysm..wished he had been monitered for this. the kids got be checked to..big op as you know..on the waiting list now..feel in very good hands with this surgeon...been recommended.just wish was sooner for the op though..still if his rheumatologist had not sent him have his murmur checked we would never have known...although he knew he wasn't feeling right..he put it down to his polymyagia x

@brennieb - about 2% of the population have this & predominantly males. I’m sure he’ll be in good hands. There are risks, but there are in all ops really. Hopefully the time goes quickly for you until operation x
