That's an Anderson shelter, I have read about them of course but I have never actually seen one! Love that rusty piece of history.

The man before us kept pigs in it.we have lived here 40 years..all sorts in it..was once a den for the kids too..still standing..ha ha

I have an old photo of my Dad's uncles building an Anderson shelter in the war in their garden. These things still last for usefulness!
