Down in the meadow

Martha went down the field and said she had found some lovely flowers. Ages ago where the dug out soil was tipped from the new summerhouse footings ..I threw some meadow seeds and just raked them lightly in. Didn't not think they would do anything. But here they are.

Super job! I grew a wildflower meadow this year too - tried to do it for many years and nothing ever came up. This year it's fab. The trick is exactly what you did. Get right down to the soil and rake the seeds in properly. Yours is lovely.

Those meadow seeds are fabulous. The bed I dug out in our front garden, i did the same with a box of meadow seeds; it’s a riot of colour and the bees love it.
