Fishing with Grandma

This morning I observed two boys on school break with their Grandparents. While one was busy testing his balance on walls nearby, the other was fishing with Grandma. Grandpa supervised the more active child. I wonder how many grandparents take their grandchildren fishing? I missed that experience.

Well I have done in the past but our youngest grandchildren live over 12,000 miles away sadly. I love this idea & the little boy fishing. He looks well settled there with his feet sticking out.

@happypat our 2 sons were born in the USA (Texas). With my work we did not return to Australia until they were 5-1/2 and almost 4 years old. The geographical distance is a challenge.

@briaan It’s hard sometimes! Ours are in NZ…we popped over to Melbourne once when we were visiting…we were impressed & my husband says it’s his favourite city.
