Can't think of a fancy name for these bike spokes

First time in ages I went for a ride on my mountain bike. Pretty tame ride really - just around the waterfront - totally flat.. no hills - but plenty of sea views.
This is for Week #3 Bookclub... shape, textures.. not sure really where this fits in - but after I uploaded from my camera -realised that the cabbage tree shadow was in the way a bit! C'est la vie

Just love the POV and the focus. B&W really works. Keep riding that bike, greatest form of transport ever invented. Although it was 3 degrees here today and I was rather cold on my bicycle.
