I'm going out on a limb to claim The Civic Theatre as being one of the most amazing in the Southern Hemisphere... big claim... but it's seriously gorgeous
@graemestevens thanks Graeme. I went on a tour of the Civic last year during Heritage week - otherwise you can only get to the main theatre areas during film fest season and shows. Was a real treat. Would you believe its actually about 14 stories or something!

I LOVE this one -- such an artistic presentation of a place that you can imagine how beautiful it is to sit there. I love how Flashback Friday lets us return to visit ones from the past.

For the record.. because i also had a double take on this when i dragged it out the other day - this view is looking from the front of the stage (where the screen is) towards the back!! .... sans scones or bread :)
